You Can Make a Difference with Bystander Intervention
Sexual violence doesn't just happen. It occurs because as a society, we allow it to happen. Everyday occurrences are opportunities for prevention education, but do you have the skills to recognize these instances and know how to engage in meaningful conversation about rape prevention. This presentation, "You Can Make a Difference with Bystander Intervention", explores everyday situations through scenarios and discussion about what individuals can do to challenge attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that lend to sexual violence. Whether it be reconsidering some of your own beliefs or talking with family, friends, or community members, this program offers an active approach to sexual violence prevention on many levels.
