Campus Sexual and Relationship Violence Center (SRVC)
All services are confidential and available at no charge for the campus community.
Campus Advocacy services include:
Survivors’ Chat Group (a peer-based support group). To learn more, email survivor@uark.edu
Accompaniment to Title IX meetings, law enforcement interviews, and other meetings to provide compassionate support for the individual
On-call after hour and weekend volunteer staff and faculty victim advocates to provide support during forensic evidence collection and law enforcement reporting. SRVC victim advocate will provide follow-up advocacy.
One-on-one confidential advocacy
Referrals to appropriate agencies and professionals based on individual needs
Assistance with navigating reporting systems and care options
Other services as needed
Education services include:
Prevention education programs for classrooms, student groups, campus departments, community, and others
1-hour academic credit, 8-week courses during the fall and spring semesters available under the PBHL 2101 series. Titles include: The Silent Epidemic-Living in a Rape Culture, Rape Through Literature, Masculinity in America, Healing the Harm-Sexual Assault on Campuses, Deconstructing Media, Healthy Relationships.
