Confidential Help After Rape
Sexual assault is a traumatic experience. Often individuals do not know where to turn for help. On campus, STAR Central serves as a place to talk about options after sexual assault. STAR Central’s victim advocacy services are confidential. Whatever options are selected by the individual will be respected.
If you or a friend need to speak with someone about sexual assault in a confidential setting, a STAR Central advocate is very willing to help you understand all of the resources available to you for care and reporting options, if you choose to report.
Some common considerations after sexual assault are:
- personal safety – if you do not feel safe, please call 911
- medical care and/or forensic examination
- reporting rape
- personal care
- how to help a friend
To schedule an appointment to talk with a STAR Central advocate, call 479-575-7252 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

After hours reporting is available.
